- 4 slices of sourdough bread or 2 crusty rolls

- 200g (7 oz) cooked turkey, thinly sliced

- 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce or Dijon mustard

- 1 handful mixed salad leaves (e.g., arugula, spinach, or lettuce)

- 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced

- 1 tomato, sliced

- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)

- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

- Slice the bread or rolls in half.

- Thinly slice the turkey, cucumber, and tomato. Wash and dry the salad leaves.
Step 2: Spread the Sauce

- Spread cranberry sauce or Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of bread or on the bottom half of the rolls.

- For extra creaminess, spread mayonnaise on the other slice or top half of the roll.
Step 3: Assemble the Sandwich

- Layer the sliced turkey evenly over the sauced bread.

- Add the salad leaves, cucumber slices, and tomato slices on top of the turkey.

Step 4: Finish and Serve
