- 4 chicken thighs or drumsticks (skin-on, bone-in)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh coriander for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Mince the garlic, grate the ginger, and juice the lime.
Step 2: Sear the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken thighs or drumsticks, skin-side down, and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 3: Make the Sticky Glaze
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lime juice.
Step 4: Coat the Chicken
- Pour the glaze over the chicken in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is coated and cooked through.
Step 5: Serve and Garnish
- Sprinkle with fresh coriander and serve with your choice of sides.
