Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

- Peel and grate the beets. Chop the onion finely.
Step 2: Cook the Onion

- In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Step 3: Add the Beets and Spices

- Add the grated beets, mustard seeds, ground allspice, and a pinch of salt and pepper to the saucepan. Stir to combine.
Step 4: Simmer the Relish
